The founder of Pearls with Purpose, Wendy Bird, has combined her love of opalescent gems with an interest in helping impoverished populations. In particular, she became interested in the situation of Filipinos, who were our initial pearl distributors. A portion of our proceeds is employed to procure and ship clothing, food, and educational supplies to struggling families throughout the Philippines.
